She’d lost her family again in the shopping centre, and as the panic erupted with an intensity that brought tears to her eyes she scanned the crowd for a familiar face.

Suddenly a strange man grabbed her shoulder, but she remembered to scream, “Get off me!” just like her mother had taught her.

“Please don’t do this again,” he said, his grip tightening, “for the millionth time I’m your husband and I’ve taken you out shopping with your grandkids, remember?”
