“Are you looking forward to going home tomorrow?” the doctor asked.
“Yeah,” he replied, “I just want to have my life back.”
The blood-soaked space squirrel nodded encouragingly and held up another placard with the words, ‘I couldn’t have got through this without you, doctor’ written in dripping black paint.
